PURIRI
The Puriri tree is a very dense, hardy tree, often having a majestic appearance. It is found mainly in the North of the North Island, and is one of NZ’s most durable timbers. It is often difficult finding clean sections of timber as the Puriri moth bore 15mm holes into the tree.
